Bath First Aid Training
 

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in any training course provided by Bath First Aid Training (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a course, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before registering.
 

2. Booking and Payment

  • A booking is confirmed once payment has been received in full or a purchase order has been accepted.

  • Payments must be made prior to the course date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept payment via bank transfer, debit/credit card, or invoice (subject to prior approval).
     

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • By the client:

    • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course date: full refund.

    • Cancellations made 7–14 days before: 50% refund.

    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before: no refund.

  • By Bath First Aid Training:

    • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. trainer illness, insufficient bookings, or venue issues). In such cases, delegates will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
       

4. Delegate Substitution

  • Substituting a delegate is permitted at no extra cost, provided we are notified at least 24 hours before the course begins.
     

5. Attendance and Certification
Delegates must attend all sessions and meet the required assessment criteria to receive certification.

  • Certificates are valid for the stated duration and will only be issued upon successful completion

6. Health and Safety

  • Delegates are expected to follow all health and safety guidelines during training.

  • Any medical conditions or learning needs that could affect participation should be disclosed before the course.
     

7. Liability

  • Bath First Aid Training will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during training, except where caused by our negligence.

  • It is the responsibility of the employer or individual to ensure that the course booked meets their specific requirements.
     

8. Intellectual Property

  • All training materials, handouts, and course content are the property of Bath First Aid Training and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
     

9. Data Protection

  • Personal information collected during booking will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

  • We do not share personal information with third parties except where required for certification purposes.
     

10. Complaints

  • Complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days of course completion.

  • We will investigate and respond within 10 working days.
     

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
